ALA-SAA Joint Statement on Access: Guidelines for Access to Original Research Materials
Developed by a Joint Task Force of the American Library Association and the Society of American Archivists, these guidelines outline the responsibilities for researcher access, as well as legal and institutional obligations, of a repository in preserving collections for use.
