Archives in Action:

The staff of the University Archives and Area Research Center at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls is publishing a blog to commemorate the 150 anniversary of the American Civil War. We have been pleasantly surprised at how much material we have in the archives and special collections about our small four-county area in northwest Wisconsin—newspaper articles, letters, rosters, photographs, published images, and in coming years a diary. Members of the community, local historical societies, and other Area Research Centers have also contributed material.
