A Sneak Peek: 100 Years of Moments & Memories at Universal

Universal Pictures marks its 100th anniversary in 2012, and will commemorate its Centennial with a yearlong celebration honoring the studio’s rich film history and cultural legacy.  Activities planned for the occasion range from major film restorations, home entertainment offerings, special screenings, theme park celebrations, signature events and a social media campaign. In order to execute such an extensive Centennial program and yearlong corporate initiative, the NBCUniversal Archives & Collections quickly became a key contributor in the effort.  Read full article >>

 

Don't Have an Anniversary Yet? Create One!

Our company’s anniversary doesn’t arrive for another 14 years, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate it!  We took action and proclaimed April as Nationwide Insurance Heritage Month.  We chose April because that is the month the first auto insurance policy was issued back in 1926.  We scheduled several events around the month to promote this idea and to get attention.  Read full article >>
