Balboa Art Conservation Center: Offers Focus on Collections Care workshops in California, Washington, and Oregon. Workshops include creating an emergency response plan and disaster recovery as well as an introductory webinar on emergency preparedness.
Campbell Center for Historic Preservation: Offers courses in collections care, historic preservation, and conservation. Emergency preparedness, response, and recovery is one of their core curriculum courses.
Connecting to Collections Care Online Community: Partnership of the Institute of Museums and Library Services, Foundation of the American Institute of Conservation, and the American Association of State and Local History. The Connecting to Collections Care site offers live and archived webinars and courses in collections care in a variety of topics with related resources including disaster planning and response.
Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA): Offers workshops on disaster planning and recovery, along with a variety of other topics in collections care.
Coordinated Statewide Emergency Preparedness MA (COSTEP MA): Provides resources for response coordination in Massachusetts. Includes general links to mitigaion and response resources, including informatin for First Responders.
FEMA Training: This site covers a wide range of training for emergency and disaster response.
National Center for Disaster Preparedness -- A comprehensive site addressing many aspects of Disaster Preparedness policy. There is a specific section devoted to Training and Education.
National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (NDPTC): General information on disaster preparedness ranging from hurricanes to social media.
Northeast Document Conservation Center (NEDCC): Has excellent preservation leaflets and also offers in-person workshops and online webinars. Emergency preparedness is one of many workshops they offer.
Western States Preservation Assistance Service (WESTPAS): Offers free workshops in disaster planning, response, and recovery, as well as creating and funding preservation projects for collections care.
