The Library of Congress is home to the largest music library in the world with its Music Division holding more than 21 million items in its collections. In the Performing Arts Reading Room, researchers come from all over the world to consult printed and manuscript scores, music-related literature, and archival collections related to music, theater and dance. Specialists from the Music Division will present an overview of these collections and address issues of acquisition, processing, and providing public access to archival materials.
