The Society of American Archivists Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of ten Travel Awards—of up to $1,000 each—to support attendance at the 2019 Joint Annual Meeting of the Council of State Archivists and SAA in Austin, July 31–August 6.
Travel awards may be applied only to conference registration fees and related expenses (such as travel, lodging, and food) incurred to attend the Joint Annual Meeting. Only current SAA members are eligible for this award. The primary criterion for selection will be financial need. (Note: Responsibilities as a caregiver for children, parents, partners/spouses, or other family members will be considered in evaluating financial need.) Applicants must complete an online form and attach a résumé or curriculum vitae.
Award determinations will be made by a selection committee comprising three SAA Foundation Board members and one SAA Council member and will be based on applicants’ responses to the following:
