Laptop Connections to Projectors at the Joint Annual Meeting

LCD projectors at the conference will have HDMI cables to connect to your device.

If your device does not have an HDMI port, you will need to bring an adapter. Conference organizers are unable to provide adapters.

Presenters are responsible for providing their own laptops or other devices for use during their presentations, and for ensuring that they have the necessary adapters (HDMI) to connect to the LCD projectors.

Also consider these best practices for presentations:

• Pre-load your presentations (and use one shared laptop when possible) to ease transitions between speakers.
• Use screen shots instead of the Internet so connectivity issues don’t interfere with your presentation.
• Charge your laptop, and remember to bring the power cord.
