Alison King

Alison M. King is a career management coach and the owner of King Career Services, where she specializes in resumes, cover letters, and career strategy for LIS and archives professionals. She holds a master's degree in Library & Information Science from Drexel University and spent over 10 years working in academic, public, and school libraries before transitioning to full-time work as a professional resume writer, editor, and coach. She is one of only 66 Nationally Certified Resume Writers (NCRWs) in the country. She works with professionals across the broader information field, including archivists, digital asset managers, and records managers. Alison is dedicated to helping library and information professionals move forward in their careers with clarity and confidence.
