zoom

v. ~ 1. To show greater detail. - 2. To move in closer to a subject.

Notes:

Zoom1 is used in some computer applications to mean magnifying an image without changing the frame size to see greater detail. - Zoom2 is used in moving image productions to mean either the process of moving the camera closer to a subject so that the subject fills the frame or to use a variable focal length lens (a zoom lens) for the same effect.
