Relationships

n. ~ Moving images · A print made quickly and often without correction that is used for rushes and assembling the rough cut so that the original is preserved.

Notes:

Work prints are used for visuals or soundtracks. They provide the director, editor, and others a copy that can be used for trial cuttings. Once the cutting points have been established, the undamaged original can be edited.
