Notes

A plate1 is used in engraving, offset printing, rotogravure, and other processes. - A plate3 is frequently on different paper from the text and printed using a different process. Plates may be tipped in individually, bound in as a separate signature, or kept in an accompanying portfolio. They are typically not included in the pagination sequence.
