natural language

n. ~ Verbal communication in a form normally spoken or written by people.

Natural language is distinguished from artificial languages, such as programming languages, that are designed to write computer applications, to query a database, or otherwise interact with a machine. Natural language processors use rules of syntax and semantics to parse ordinary language into a form that a machine understands. Natural language order is used to distinguish headings in a sequence used in normal communication from headings that are inverted to place the principal term first for sorting.
