Alan Breus privately consults with universities, charities, government agencies, law firms and accounting firms for their donation and estate tax needs relating to archives containing documentary films, rare books and documents and financial and insurance instruments.
Alan has been engaged as an advisor/appraiser valuing donations to charitable organizations including, but not limited to: Northwestern University, DePaul University, Columbia University, John Carroll University, Ohio University, The National Children’s Cancer Society, The Advocate Hope Children’s Hospital, The U.S. Department of Commerce, Planned Parenthood and The Holocaust Museum in Wash. D.C.
Alan’s organizational memberships include, Appraisers Association of America, National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, Trusts & Estates Editorial Advisory Board, Professional Advisors Network of the Smithsonian, The Society of American Archivists, MENSA, The Central Florida Association of Planned Giving.
