Aimée Primeaux is a Preservation Consultant working from Arlington, Mass.
She was the Project Manager for the Northeast Document Conservation Center’s COSTEP (Coordinated Statewide Emergency Preparedness) project, and serves as the Coordinator for the American Institute for Conservation’s AIC-CERT (Collections Emergency Response Teams). Prior to her work as a consultant she was the Special Projects Coordinator and Field Service Representative for the Northeast Document Conservation Center in Andover, Massachusetts.
She teaches both online and live workshops on preservation and disaster management, as well as Preservation Management as an adjunct professor at Simmons College’s Graduate School of Library and Information Science.
She has an M.L.S. in Library and Information Science and an M.A. in American History from Simmons College in Boston and a B.A. from Millsaps College in Mississippi.
