In addition to a 2013 BCS National Championship, the University of Alabama can now boast having an SAA Student Chapter! The chapter, which became official earlier this month, will serve as a means of introducing new archivists to the profession, as well as enhancing education by providing an additional venue for students to discuss archival issues and engage in professional activities. Thirty-five student chapters have been established since 1993.
