The Grants Development Subcommittee developed this resource to raise awareness among member regionals about grant opportunities. The list of national and state-level grants was the first phase of this resource. A listing of non-traditional resources, which includes grant directories, is also available. Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR)
Multiple grants covering a wide variety of topics.
Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA)
Offers grant-writing assistance for relevant projects.
GRAMMY Foundation to digitize music
Supports efforts that advance the archiving and preservation of the music and recorded sound heritage of North America.
Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS)
Multiple grants covering a wide variety of topics.
National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)
Multiple grants covering a wide variety of topics.
National Historical Publications & Records Commission (NHPRC)
Multiple grants covering a wide variety of topics.
National Trust for Historic Preservation
Encourages preservation at the local level by providing seed money for preservation projects, as well as manages a series of more specific funds.
These resources include directories and other guides to identifying and locating funders. A few require registration and/or a subscription for full access.
