Welcome to MDOS

The Metadata and Digital Object Section (MDOS), formerly Roundtable, is one of the largest sections within SAA. It promotes discussion, education, and collaboration among archivists who are interested in digital archival objects and the metadata that enables their access, management, and preservation.

To join or leave the Section, click the "Join/Leave" link above. You may have to log in to your SAA profile first. If you do not have an SAA profile, or are not sure if you have one, please visit the Find/Create an SAA Profile page. You don't have to be an SAA member to create an SAA profile. Joining the section will automatically subscribe you to the MDOS email list.
