Support School Librarians

Please sign the White House petition to support school librarians. You have to register on the site but it isn't hard. Anyone 13 or older can sign so middle school and high school students can do it, too. Please post this far and wide. We have 10,000 signatures abut need 25,000 by Feb. 4. This is an easy advocacy act and would be a great teachable moment for our students. I plan to ask a few minutes during each social studies class to demonstrate how our voices can be heard at the national level.
